Prof. Abeer Ahmed Moneer

Professor of Marine Pollution, Director of Alexandria and North Lakes Branch, National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, NIOF, Egypt. Graduated in Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University with VERY GOOD degree in 1990. She Obtained her M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Alexandria University in 1996. She Obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Alexandria University in 2005.  She has more than 46 published scientific papers in International Journals dealing with Desalination, Liquid membranes, Diffusion kinetics, Electrochemical techniques, Wastewater treatment, Environmental aspects. Teaches Desalination Technologies for students of fourth year, Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering since 2014. Supervise more than 20 PhD and MSc thesis. She has three patents in desalination by pervaporartion and desalination by emulsion liquid membrane.
